I'm Michael Shipp, a trumpet player and I have been playing for 10 years now. I'm a senior at Saint Xavier University. I'm a Studio Art major and minor is music performance. I started playing trumpet in the sixth grade and played trumpet all through out high school and I'm currently playing in college.
I'm here to bring the fun and joy of music into the students. I have had some rough times with my own instructors when it came to music and that's why I want to give trumpet lessons to students. I want to give a good experience to all students because music is supposed to be a fun experience for the students. I think with patience, compassion, and practice, the students will succeed at playing music.
