About the event
During the course, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of bucket drumming techniques. Craig will guide students on how to properly hold the drumsticks and where to strike the bucket to produce the best sound. Additionally, students will:
- Learn rhythms
- Learn timing/rests
- Learn to play rhythms in every song
- Learn to keep tempo
- Develop Ensemble Skills
- Learn drumming fundamentals
- Become a part of a community
The course emphasizes the fundamentals of basic percussion, laying a solid foundation for further musical exploration. In addition to the educational aspect, the bucket drumming event also aims to build a sense of community.
Participants become part of a supportive group where they can collaborate, share their progress, and enjoy making music together. The recurring monthly sessions foster a regular rhythm of learning and provide an opportunity for participants to continually refine their skills and grow as drummers.
No prior drumming experience is required, and all necessary equipment, including buckets and sticks, will be provided. However, if you prefer to bring your own sticks, feel free to do so!
For those who are more dedicated and want to further their drumming abilities, drum lessons are also available! These lessons offer a more personalized approach, allowing students to receive individualized instruction and guidance tailored to their specific needs and goals.
