About the event
If you're a ukulele player who wants to play with other music lovers like yourself, this is the group for you! Hosted by ukulele instructor Ahren, Melody Mart's Ukulele Jam Band is designed for ukulele students with some experience reading chord charts and playing basic strum patterns, but those enthusiastic about learning are welcome to join.
In this Jam Band group, depending on level and comfort, students will:
- Learn beginning to advanced strum patterns
- Learn fingerpicking techniques and tablature
- Play musical pieces with varying parts
- Have the opportunity to show the group what they're working on during the Open Mic portion of group
- Get feedback and tips from other ukulele players
- Be a part of a growing ukulele community
