About the event

Music is a language everyone understands! But have you ever wanted to learn how to read and write music? Let’s get together to learn the how and why of music!

The course is structured to teach the basic elements of music to better understand and read music and the rudiments of music. 

Students will:

  • The basic elements of reading
  • Meaning behind music symbols
  • Learn the basics of reading music
  • Develop classroom schools
  • Become a part of a community
  • Develop listening skills & Aural skills
  • Learn to recognize different pitches
  • Develop a “music ear” to help with improvisation 

This program is suited for ages 6 and under and occurs monthly.  No materials required.
