The Performer's Toolkit

The Performer’s Toolkit helps student musicians develop healthy, effective habits so their solid practice becomes confident performances. We will cover various topics about stage presence, nerve management, audition/recital prep, organizational tips, professional development, résumé/bio/EPK basics and more!

Depending on the week, students will explore different performance-readiness topics. Sessions may include:

-Mini-lessons on core skills such as stage presence, effective practice systems, and audition preparation

-Brief run-throughs or mock auditions with supportive, actionable feedback

-Guided development of practice plans tailored to each student

-Audition and recital preparation, including repertoire lists, marked cuts, count-ins, and run-of-show planning
