For 70 years, Melody Mart has been more than a place to buy instruments.
It’s where first notes are played. Where confidence is built. Where friendships are formed. Where music becomes part of who you are.

This year, as we celebrate our 70th anniversary, we’re opening our doors wider than ever!
What is Open House?
Our Open House is our way of inviting the community in to explore, experience, and connect with music. During Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Try instruments in a hands-on, low-pressure environment
Meet our educators and learn about lessons and programs
Explore group classes, rentals, and repair services
Watch live demonstrations and performances
Ask questions and discover your next step in music
You can move at your own pace, follow your curiosity, and find what resonates with you.
What You Might Discover
You might discover an instrument you’ve never tried before.
You might meet a teacher who inspires you.
You might find a program that fits your goals perfectly.
Or you might simply enjoy being in a space filled with music, creativity, and people who care.
What Makes This Year Special
This year is different. Because of the incredible support from the Palumbo Family Foundation, we’re able to offer something we’ve never done before:
Free Group Music Classes for the Community
Throughout April and May, our group programs will be completely free to the public. (To sign up for classes, look at our group program calendar)
This means more opportunities for:
Beginners to try something new
Families to explore music together
Students to build skills in a supportive environment
Community members to connect through shared creativity
This initiative is rooted in a simple belief that Music should be accessible. Music should be shared. Music should belong to everyone. Many thanks to the Palumbo family.
RSVP today
Whether you stay for five minutes or the whole day, we invite you to come experience what Melody Mart is all about. Because after 70 years, one thing remains true: This has never just been about instruments.
It’s about people. It’s about community. It’s about the music we create together.
And we’d love for you to be part of it.
